I’m attending the Melbourne SQL Server User Group. Are you?

I’m in a new city and I need to get know people, so I’ve signed up for the Melbourne (Australia) SQL Server User Group. It’s being run by Greg Low and this month’s presentation is on Encryption Technologies in SQL Server. You can see the run down here.

I’ve already had the pleasure of meeting a number of people over the last 2 – 3 weeks and am thoroughly looking forward to meeting more SQL Server professionals at this meeting. If you are attending and want to say hello, have a look for this guy:

I have to say this about Melburnians. You rock. All of you. I’ve only been here for 3 weeks and can honestly say that I have never felt more welcomed than I do here. Even VicRoads was a pleasant experience. So, thank you Melbourne. You’re awesome!

See you folks on Monday.
