Just for starters
I have yet to:
- Write a book
- Become a SQL Server MVP
- Make a million
- Build an AC Cobra or restore a 1968 Corvette Stingray
- Start my own company
But some day I will. And I will enjoy every minute of doing so.
Something Personal
First and foremost I am a husband, and a father to two amazing children. I love coffee, red wine, a good beer and good food. I love databases, Business Intelligence and Data Visualisations. I love Apple but depend on Microsoft.
I tweet. I G+. I Facebook. I Foursquare. I’m LinkedIn. I enjoy a good word game with friends.
I’ve lived in 9 cities in 6 different countries, in the last 11 years. I’ve found a place to call home at last and it’s Melbourne, Australia.
Something Professional
I am a Business Intelligence consultant with 7 years experience. Focusing on Microsoft’s SQL Server BI Stack, I’ve worked in a number of industries (including finance, healthcare, automotive & energy) to architect, develop and implement successful BI Solutions.
I am always open to new opportunities, so if you think I may be able to help you, then don’t hesitate to contact me.
Why do I blog?
I created this site primarily to keep a record of the thoughts I have about Business Intelligence , SQL Server, and anything else I find interesting. Making my thoughts public means that I do more research into what I am saying and enhances my own understanding of the subject matter. I hope that you enjoy what you read, find it educational and feel compelled to get involved with your comments/questions/etc.
